Databases:
Use these reliable sources to research. Be sure to create your Cite This for Me page as you go. You will find the citation icon at the top of your google page. It looks like a small monitor. The library has the usernames and passwords you will need to access the databases.
American History Online - This database gives you primary source information on American history as well as many other sources.
EBSCO - This periodical (magazine and journal) database has millions of current articles. Remember to use Boolean (use a, and, or not) when searching. (ex. Dogs, not pugs)
Encyclopedia Britannica - This general encyclopedia contains basic information on most subjects arranged in several levels of detail.
Opposing Viewpoints - This database has information on current topics, giving various points of view as well as journal articles. Remember that articles are written with a bias.
